Is it worth $10? Yes

Three Brooklyn cops – one in uniform (Richard Gere), one undercover (Don Cheadle) and one a narc (Ethan Hawke) – share a mutual disregard for the law when it comes to what they believe is right and wrong. It's an interesting character study to see each character do what he needs to do, and strong performances from the three leads (as well as Wesley Snipes as a drug dealer) make the movie immediately compelling. However, the three plotlines do not intersect as much as they should, meaning the story occasionally lacks rhythm. Still, director Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day") has made one of the best cop dramas in quite some time.
