Is it worth $10? Yes

Charged with the difficult task of informing military families of their deceased loved ones, Staff Sergeant Will Montgomery (Ben Foster) breaks the rules of his immediate superior, Tony Stone (Woody Harrelson), by falling for the widow (Samantha Morton) of a deceased soldier. The job these men do is ordinarily relegated to a brief scenes in a larger-scale movie, but writer/director Oren Moverman's impressive debut very thoroughly explores their emotions and how they deal with such a difficult task. Even better, the performances by Foster and Harrelson deserve Oscar nominations.
