"You Again" I personally loved. I guess maybe as a man, perhaps you cannot "get it" when women can be so terribly mean to each other, especially in those earlier years, especially high school. I enjoyed this movie and found the scenes with the exboyfriend especially comical as I held my breath waiting to see how bad it was going to get, feeling myself giggle and liking the revenge.............and then feeling so sorry for the brother, not even having a hint of what had been going on with his dear sister. Nice moment after all the "drama" when finally the hateful girl from school broke down and apologized. Of course, Betty White had a great scene and that was the topping on the cake. This was probably more a female movie which is probably why you may not have "got it' as much as we girls did but if you had put your "big girls panties" on before the movie, perhaps you could have written a more real movie review.
