Dan...Dan...Dan.... This is one of your most disappointing reviews ever. While I agree with you that, had it ended at the first ending it would have been a far superior film, I could not disagree with you more about everything else. I was entertained from beginning to end and left the theater knowing I'd be back to see it again real soon.

Of course we know that Ghostface will kill everyone. Of course we know that people will do stupid things that get them killed. Thats the basis of a slasher film. And what creativity could the deaths have without slipping into your favorite subgenre of Torture Porn? Ghostface kills with a knife. Theres only so many ways you can kill someone with a knife. To sum it up, I feel you're judging this film unfairly. You change elements around to make it different and you'll end up with an entirely different film than Scream.

This is what the Scream movies are about. This movie was perfectly done, and as good as the original if not slightly better. I don't think slasher films are your particular cup of tea, and perhaps you should allow someone else to review these.
